Jio Brings Rs. 222, Rs. 333, Rs. 444 'All-in-One' Plans With 2GB Data, 1,000 Offnet IUC Minutes Reliance Jio has launched its Rs. 222, Rs. 333, and Rs. 444 prepaid plans in India to offer 2GB data and unlimited Jio-to-Jio voice calling benefits. Called 'All-in-One', the new plans also include additional 1,000 of offnet IUC minutes that users can leverage to make voice calls to mobile networks other than Jio. The telco claims that the new plans are 20 to 50 percent cheaper than the existing plans from the competition. There is also up to three months of validity. The new Jio plans come just days after the operator started charging six paise per minute for offnet voice calls and announced a range of Interconnect Usage Charge (IUC) top-up vouchers to compensate the customers. India's newest billionaire is a former classroom teacher who developed an education app that's grown to a valuation of almost $6 billion in about seven years. Byju Raveendran joined the rarefied club after his Think & Learn Pvt scored $150 million (roughly Rs. 1,000 crores) in funding earlier this month. Oppo on Monday showcased its new innovation – a ‘Waterfall Screen. It is essentially a display that has almost no bezels and sharp curved edges. The curved edges of Oppo's Waterfall Screen are more pronounced than the curved-edged display seen on Samsung and Huawei flagships. A dummy Oppo phone shown by the company sports a notch-less and almost bezel-less front. The phone has no physical buttons on the sides, and there's no notch or cut-out of any kind for the front camera in the official images shared by the company. Oppo VP, Brian Shen shared the official photos of the new Oppo Waterfall Screen technology. The display is seen to flow over the edges, like a waterfall. Given that this technology has been introduced in the second half of 2019, we could see it integrated in a new Oppo phone sometime early next year or even later year.

FaceApp, the photo editing app with age filters that have made the app viral virtually overnight, seems to be now blocking users from India. The app is still available for to download for Android and iOS respectively from Google Play and Apple's App Store, but trying to use FaceApp from India now leads to error. The FaceApp block was reported by users on Twitter and confirmed independently by Gadgets 360. Huawei Mate X may be released soon. Ahead of the official release, a store in China was spotted displaying a poster promoting Huawei's first foldable phone, the Mate X which would also be among its first with 5G connectivity. The Huawei Mate X poster does not list any dates, but it hints that the launch is near, news portal GSMArena reported on Monday, citing a Weibo account with the name 'Digital Institute'. The President of Huawei's Product Division said in an interview earlier this month that the Huawei Mate X would be available in China in late July or early August.
